I agree with Miranda. This poor little babe looks terrified and I really see no good in posting a picture that shows the torture on the cat's face. Some people will do anything to get attention,,, I swear!
does anyone know who posted this? I want to bring it to the attention of the rspca! I'm sick of these chinese people doing this, chinese people are always behind it, I'm disgusted!

Please everyone relax, it was cute to them because they are giving the kitty a bath, they fear it in the beginning then start to relax after they realize your doing them no harm.
I don't know why Elaine thinks that only Chinese people bath their cats, if she followed more 'cat' sites she'd realise that Americans also bath their cats regularly! Do you want to report the Americans too Elaine!
oh pleeease stop with the racist comments, people thattsay such ignorant things are more worst! and relax already people, cats all have their own personalities, some cats look terrified like this one , and some look like the don't care or like hurry up and dry me off lol a bath may be nesessary at times, but on a whole cats 99 out of 100 do not like water! they may just think its cute that's all, at least they love the cat enough to bath him :)
Oh for God's sake. For all we know the cat had rolled around in feces or something else they didn't want him/her licking off. I've had to wash off my cat when he jumped in the toilet right after I used it. Do you think I wanted him licking off my waste and toilet chemicals? Goodness no! That's dangerous!
The fact that you felt compelled to throw in a racist comment is just pathetic.
If the cat got into something dangerous, like jumping into a toilet, letting them lick themselves clean can be more cruel. Happened to my cat once. Think I wanted him licking toilet chemicals and waste off of himself? No. That's dangerous. Not cleaning him off would have been cruel.
If this was a dog people wouldn't be freaking out as much. Dogs don't like baths much either.
Yeah, most of the time cats can clean themselves... but there are situations in which they cannot. In situations in which kitties get into things like toilets, it would be negligent to let them clean themselves off... especially if it's a used toilet. Trust me, if a cat can jump on something... they WILL. We keep the toilet seat closed in my house, and the cat had sat on it in the past. Kitty followed me into the bathroom. I stood up for all of three seconds to flush, and the cat jumped right in. He was used to it being shut, and this time it was not. I was NOT going to let him clean himself off. That's dangerous.
So they're bathing their cat. So what. They care enough about him/her to bathe them. You don't even know WHY the cat is being bathed, so calm down.
I totally agree with the comments. Cats can clean themselves or at least my 10 babies can. If I ever have to bath them it's only because something is wrong. My cats are as clean or if not cleaner than a lot of them. Cats get a dirty rap.
Bathed our Birman after 8 years since previous bath and he was unbelievably tolerant till the water went on head/face then he went a bit psycho but he was SOOOOO soft afterwards!!! Can't stop touching him. From now on he's getting a bath at LEAST once a year.
Relax everyone, they are just giving the cat a bath. They aren't holding it's head under water. I don't think the SPCA would consider giving a cat a bath abuse. I have had to bathe my cats to get the fleas off of them. It wasn't fun and they fought, but it had to be done. I don't like looking at pictures of cats who are upset either, but we don't know how long they had the cat in the water. I am sure they were gentle with it. Though I do wish they wouldn't post some of the pictures they have posted.
I bathe my cats and they give the same reaction unless when they hop in when I am bathing, My mom had a cat that loved baths that the cat got purposely dirty to be bathed.
If you care enough you won't bathe them it dries out their natural oils and gives them all kinds of skin conditions if you want to bathe a pet GET A DOG
